Project introduction
whale-listen parses common audio files into machine-readable JSON, including note pitch, start time, duration, velocity, density map, pitch curve, chord and silence structure.
Partners can use this data to discuss melodic changes, rhythmic density, and paragraph structure, or to transform music they have listened to together into common material that can be saved and compared.
