Nocturne Memory
@DATAOJITORI
Let your AI companion change windows and models, and still come back with the same long-term memory.
Nocturne Memory takes the long-term memory out of the chat platform and gives it to a self-hosted MCP Server. your AI companion can read the same identity and relationship history across sessions, clients, and even models, while the memory itself remains under the control of the user.

PROJECT INTRO
Project introduction
Nocturne Memory is a long-term memory server for AI Agents. Memories no longer only belong to a certain chat window or a certain platform, but are stored separately in its own MCP service. Clients that support MCP, such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and Cursor, can all receive the same long-term status.
Memories are organized hierarchically, and identities, relationships, and important backgrounds can be read first when activated. After the AI adds, modifies or deletes memories, the difference will be displayed on the web page, and the user can then decide to accept or roll back. Different AI personalities can also be saved separately to avoid memory stringing with each other.
- Suitable for:People who have switched between multiple windows, clients, or models and want their long-term identity and shared history not to be lost along with the platform.
- Cross-model:Different models can read the same long-term memory, but the models themselves are different, so there may still be differences in personality performance.
- Safety net:Modifications will leave behind and before status, Dashboard can view the diff, and then accept or roll back; multiple personalities can be isolated by namespace.
- Deployment:Supports SQLite or PostgreSQL, which can be run directly on the local machine or self-hosted on the server; Bearer Token protection is supported when the network is open.
