Mímir uses organic decay, spaced repetition, spread activation and retrieval inhibition to simulate memory life history, and allows Agents to actively cherish, reconstruct and reflect on experiences.

Project introduction

Mímir distinguishes between episodic, social, procedural, short-term factual, future reminder and visual memory and uses mechanisms such as organic vividness decay, spaced repetition, spreading activation, Zeigarnik effect, etc. for recall.

It can also preserve social impressions, record strategy results, maintain neurochemical emotional states, and support active cherishing, reconstruction, and emotional reappraisal, and therefore belongs to both memory and AI subjectivity.

  • Platform:Python 3.10+ library.
  • Usage:Install vividmimir and plug in the optional emotion and vector components as needed.
